Why did my percent body fat go up after using ProLon?

We have found that the bioelectrical impedance scale/test, which is the most common body composition measuring tool, is not always adequately reliable to measure the effects of ProLon, especially during Days 5 and 6. This is most likely due to either loss of glycogen in the body or dehydration and “fluid shift” which can be mistaken for muscle loss using the bioimpedance testing method. We used more accurate tests in our clinical studies for lean body mass measurements and demonstrated the maintenance of lean body mass and decrease in body fat when ProLon was used over three consecutive 5-day cycles (one cycle per month).

If you are concerned about the measurements you are getting, please re-measure your body composition on day 7 or 8. If you are still concerned after doing this, please discuss further with your healthcare provider.
